How much time is required from a member?
Following a 2-week orientation spanning 2 hours, members dedicate 2.5 hours annually to general meetings. Committee members, in addition, are expected to contribute a minimum of 1 extra hour every two weeks for committee meetings.
What kind of assistance can I expect as a member?
Our achievements stem from the mutual care and support members extend to one another, fostering a strong group dynamic. We stand ready to celebrate your significant life events, and through our network of donors and partners, guide you towards the opportunities you may be pursuing.
Are members required to contribute dues?
Indeed, members contribute a predetermined sum in dues to sustain the organization's operations. This amount can be paid on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis.
What is the orientation like?
This comprises two distinct sessions—one with the appointed leader of the organization and the other with the entire executive team.
Is there a specific schedule or set times I need to be available for orientation?
You have flexibility; there's no need to block specific days or times for orientation. New members typically invest around 2 hours over two weeks in weekly orientation sessions. This includes a one-on-one meeting with an assigned executive and another hour with the entire executive team, scheduled in GMT time. Details about dates and times will be shared with you during the registration process.
Is membership open to everyone?
To join, you need to be 18 years or older, possess a passion for charitable work, and demonstrate dedication to supporting the less privileged in the community. Individuals of any ethnicity, race, or gender are encouraged to apply for membership.
Can individuals from any location become members?
Certainly, while the operations of Authentic Classics are centered in Ghana, we extend a warm welcome to Ghanaian citizens residing both in Ghana and the diaspora, as well as non-citizens living in Ghana or abroad.
Are there specific technical requirements for membership?
No, but it is advisable to have a dependable internet connection to participate in our virtual meetings.

No, a member is essentially a volunteer, as both membership contributions and participation are voluntary. However, a volunteer may not necessarily be a member and can sign up to support specific initiatives or programs. Members are required to pay dues, whereas volunteers are not. Additionally, members adhere to the organization's by-laws, while volunteers sign a volunteer agreement.
